A BIG thank you to everyone who came out Saturday August 24^th to the 3rd Annual ArtWalk at the Shores in Oxnard CA, It was a beautiful sunny day, not too hot.  I enjoyed seeing friends and meeting new ones. Thank you for your wonderful response to my new printmaking work and wall hangings. I had such a great time!

I’m excited to share that I am participating in the 2019 International Mini Print Exhibition in Cadeques, Spain. This is a traveling exhibition that starts in Spain and will go to France and the UK. This is the 3rd year that I have been selected. When the exhibit is done the participating artists receive a catalogue with all the prints in the show. Can’t wait !

I visited Cadeques a couple of years ago and was there at the time of that year’s exhibit and met Mercedes who heads the gallery and event. It was truly special to be able to see all the mini prints.

I’ve been enjoying being the Artist in Residence at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum in Oxnard, CA. It’s an incredible museum with a gorgeous view over the harbor.

I have a studio set up with a press as well as a gallery of my coastal inspired prints.

Juried by Crawford Alexander Mann III, the curator of Prints and Drawings at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

What an honor to be juried in by master printmaker Sam Carr-Prindle of Crown Point Press,

to the Santa Barbara Printmaker’s Exhibit at the Channing Peake Gallery in Santa Barbara. This is one of my new viscosity monoprints.

The exhibit will be up until October 10, 2018 and then will travel to Santa Maria.

On September 7^th there will be printmaking demos at the Channing Peake Gallery located at 11 W. Anapamu Street.

This year we will be having a FREE raffle of one of our limited edition folios.

That is 15 original hand pulled prints! We’ll have guitar music by the talented Saint Pierre.

Hope you can join me Saturday October 3rd 4-7 pm for my “Here to ZEN” exhibit. In addition to a couple of multi-exposure photographs that are printed on canvas and museum wrapped, I have new hand-pulled etchings and monoprints, I think you’ll love the  sweet little mini-prints that are available both framed and unframed. It’s such a great outing to wander around the boat harbor. Come on by.

Three of my Moroccan inspired intaglio etchings will be part of this exhibit along with other printmakers.
