I was honored to be juried in to the IN PRINT exhibition at the Vita Art Center, in Ventura. The opening (on my birthday weekend) was an amazing showcase of the diversity of printmaking.ย There was everything from bold linocuts, expressive monotypes, intricate photopolymer etchings as well as a collection of hand made artist books.
It was an honor to be part of the show and to exhibit a selection from my Moroccan Series, a body of work composed of polychromatic multi-image photopolymer etchings inspired by the textures, architecture and atmosphere of Morocco.ย Sharing these pieces in such a creative space and receiving thoughtful feedback was truly rewarding.ย It was especially gratifying to connect with fellow printmakers and visitors alike, exchanging ideas and storied behind the work.
